In furtherance of the SIA–GraySpace position paper on the EU Space Act, GraySpace Law and Policy Consulting, in coordination with the Satcom Industry Association of India (SIA-India), organised a public policy webinar titled “EU Space Act: Perspectives from Non-EU Partner Countries.”
The webinar provided a platform for industry representatives to engage with the evolving EU Space Act and to share perspectives on regulatory interoperability, proportionality, and the importance of continued international cooperation in the space sector.
The discussion focused on how non-EU industry stakeholders view the proposed framework, the role of equivalence and mutual recognition, and the value of structured dialogue between EU institutions and third-country industry associations as the legislative process progresses.
