GraySpace at FICCI Bharat Space Conclave 2026: India’s Space and Geospatial Vision 2035

At FICCI’s Bharat Space Conclave 2026, Devanshu Ganatra, Partner, at GraySpace, spoke on a panel on “India’s Space & Geospatial Vision 2035: Policy, Investment & Industry Priorities.” The discussion focused on where the sector now stands and what it will take to move from momentum to alignment.

A central point of the conversation was that India’s space and geospatial sector is entering a more serious phase. It is no longer driven only by ambition or institutional signalling. The ecosystem is now seeing serious capital, growing capability, and a regulatory conversation that is finally beginning to catch up.

That makes alignment the real issue. The building blocks are increasingly visible — policy attention, private-sector participation, institutional support, investor interest, and industrial capability. But the next phase of growth will depend on whether these elements are connected in a way that supports scale, predictability, and long-term execution.

The discussion also reinforced that Vision 2035 is not only about expanding one sector. It is about how India brings together policy, investment, regulation, and industry priorities to shape a more coherent space and geospatial ecosystem over the coming decade.

GraySpace was pleased to contribute to this discussion alongside fellow panelists and stakeholders from across the sector.

The building blocks are in place. What the sector needs now is alignment across them. GraySpace is grateful to FICCI, IN-SPACe, and the organisers for convening a timely discussion on the future of India’s space and geospatial ecosystem.
